Business Department
Receive a degree in Bible/Theology and Business Administration from Emmaus
Do you have a strong desire to grow and become an effective leader in either a business or ministry setting? Our goal in the Emmaus business program is that you will leave equipped and ready to serve and lead in your church, ministry, or place of business. You will study the fundamentals of business administration and interact with experienced faculty who have backgrounds in business, entrepreneurship, ministry, and more!
Faculty members teaching in the Business Administration program bring both excellent academic credentials and “real world” experience to the classroom, and our program integrates a high quality business curriculum with the study of the Bible. You will be introduced to a range of topics from within the business environment including economics, accounting, management/leadership, business finance, marketing and how organizations are constructed and operate. It is our program's goal that you graduate with a professional image, a biblical worldview, and a business knowledge base that will enable you to effectively work and serve in a business capacity for a ministry or secular organization.
As a student in the business program, you will be required to complete an internship in a relevant field, giving you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom in a business environment. Within the business program, you will also have opportunities to focus on specific areas of interest, including Information Technology or Camp Ministry Management.
At Emmaus, you will be introduced to the study of Business in conjunction with faith. Our Business Administration program can help you learn how to operate as a person of faith in the business world. We integrate Biblical principles across the broad spectrum of classes with the focus on changing how you live rather than just memorization of facts.
The Business department at Emmaus can prepare you for a broad range of jobs within the business environment or to pursue a secondary degree in the specialization of your choice. Some of these fields include:
