Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship awards full tuition, is renewable for up to three additional years or upon completion of a bachelor's degree program, whichever comes first, to outstanding incoming student scholars who demonstrate a passion for the things of the Lord and a strong desire for university-level study of the Bible as a foundation to impact the world for Christ in their future ministry or profession.
Amount: Full Emmaus tuition.
Application Deadline: February 9, 2026
Eligibility:
- Freshman: Applicants must have a 3.5 or higher high school GPA
- Transfer (minimum 24 college credits): Applicants must have a 3.25 or higher college GPA
Eligible applicants must also be pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree and be a new, full-time student in the Fall 2026 semester. While a standardized test score (e.g. SAT, ACT, CLT) is not required, it could be a distinguishing factor when being considered amongst other applicants.
Application Requirements: Apply and be admitted to Emmaus University, and complete the scholarship application below by the application deadline.
Number of Scholarships
Two Presidential Scholarships will be awarded for students beginning full-time studies in the Fall 2026 semester: At least one will be provided to a student who declares the intent to major in Biblical Studies, Intercultural Studies, or Educational Ministries.
The Presidential Scholarship does not cover tuition/fees for concurrent enrollment courses at Northeast Iowa Community University or the University of Dubuque.
Award Process
The Presidential Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Top applicants will be notified by February 21, 2026, and invited to Emmaus to interview with the President, a select panel of faculty & staff, and a past Presidential Scholarship winner during Discover Emmaus Weekend on March 27-28, 2026. Presidential Scholarship recipients will be announced by or before Friday, April 4.
