The Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies is designed for those who have completed approximately two years of undergraduate studies, typically concentrating on required general studies course work.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will evidence:

  1. Knowledge of the content of the Bible.
  2. A detailed understanding of Christian theology.
  3. Ability to defend biblical truth and the Christian faith.
  4. Practice of proper methodology for interpreting and applying the English Bible.
  5. Skill in communicating the teaching and application of a biblical passage.
  6. Commitment to growth in Christian character and lifestyle.
  7. English Bible: In-depth knowledge of specific areas of Bible and Christian theology

Open Electives - 14 credits

Prospective students must have a minimum of 42 credits for program admittance.

Program Requirements

1. Complete a minimum of 120 semester credit hours, including required transfer credits.
2. A 2.0 cumulative grade point average and a passing grade in all required courses.
3. Every student must complete 50% of their program at Emmaus, therefore only a maximum of 60 credits or up
to half of their program requirements can be transferred into Emmaus.
4. Complete the general graduation requirements listed in the Academic Life section of the catalog.

EU Global

Degree completion is also available through Emmaus University Global. Emmaus University Global courses are 100% online courses. Two or more courses are offered each 8-week term. Individuals taking two courses each term can finish in twelve 8-week terms, or two years. Courses are $300 per credit hour.

Emmaus equipped me with a solid Biblical foundation to walk in a manner worthy of His calling in my life and provided me with an excellent education that would aid tremendously in graduate school.
