The Presidential Scholarship awards full tuition, renewable for all four years at Emmaus, to outstanding incoming student scholars who demonstrate a passion for the things of the Lord and a strong desire for college-level study of the Bible as a foundation to impact the world for Christ in their future ministry or profession.

Amount: Full Emmaus tuition. Renewable for up to three years.

Application Deadlines: February 5, 2024

Eligibility: Applicants must have a 3.25 or higher high school GPA or 3.25 GPA for college transfer credits (minimum of 24). Eligible applicants must also be pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree and be a new, full-time student in the Fall of 2024.

Presidential Scholarship Application

The Presidential Scholarship awards full tuition, renewable for all four years at Emmaus, to outstanding incoming student scholars who demonstrate a passion for the things of the Lord and a strong desire for college-level study of the Bible as a foundation to impact the world for Christ in their future ministry or profession. In addition to applying and being admitted to Emmaus Bible College, eligibility includes having a 3.25 or higher high school GPA or 3.25 GPA for college transfer credits (minimum of 24). Eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree.

Number of Scholarships
Two Presidential Scholarships will be awarded for students beginning full-time studies in the Fall 2024 semester: At least one will be provided to a student who declares the intent to major in Biblical Studies, Intercultural Studies, or Educational Ministries.

The Presidential Scholarship does not cover tuition/fees for concurrent enrollment courses at Northeast Iowa Community College or the University of Dubuque.

Award Process
The Presidential Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Top applicants will be notified by February 16, 2024 and invited to Emmaus to interview with the President, a select panel of faculty & staff, and a past Presidential Scholarship winner during Discover Emmaus Weekend on March 21-22, 2024. Presidential Scholarship recipients will be announced by Friday, March 29.
