Roy enjoys the rigors of study—especially exploring Scriptures and seeing their connection to music, movies, art, and anything else cultural. He has also learned to enjoy this kind of study in a community rather than on his own and is always ready to engage students with these topics or anything else. In his first educational experience, Roy completed an engineering degree which he used almost ten years before turning to theology full-time. Having left engineering behind, Roy still likes to figure out how things work but now in the areas of theology, biblical studies, and the practical outworking of these in following the Lord Jesus. Roy’s appreciation for the grace of God in his own life has given him a passion for others to join him in growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord.
