More about Bruce

With his wife, Anna, and three young children, Bruce moved from Detroit, MI to teach at Emmaus in 2019. He has worked in full-time ministry since 2006 with activities like children’s evangelism, discipleship, and itinerant preaching, but transitioned to serving in formal biblical education after receiving his Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary and his PhD from the University of Aberdeen. Bruce is excited to talk about anything related to the Scriptures or theology, but lately his particular interests have revolved around intertextuality in the gospels and messianism within Second Temple Judaism. In his free time, he enjoys playing Pokémon and video games with his children in addition to slowly, slowly, working on his old home in downtown Dubuque.

Educating and equipping learners to impact the world for Christ.
