Emmaus Bible College is able to offer a variety of financial aid through Federal Student Aid programs, Institutional Aid programs, and private sources.
Currently, Emmaus participates in three federally funded financial aid programs: Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants, and Federal Stafford Loans. These programs are designed to provide financial assistance to students with financial need based on their resources.
All applicants for Federal Aid must be:
- U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens
- High school graduates (or equivalent)
- Making satisfactory academic progress
- Not be in default on any loan or owe a refund on any grant made under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965.
To apply for federal aid, the student must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available at your local library or high school or through the Financial Aid Office at Emmaus. Request that the results be sent to Emmaus Bible College. Our Title IV School Code is 016487.Also, be sure the Admissions Department has received your application for admission and your high school and college transcripts.
In an effort to further assist students, Emmaus has a number of grants, scholarships, and awards that may be available to eligible full-time students. Requirements and applications vary depending upon individual scholarship. Click here to view our scholarships.
Emmaus is approved by the Iowa Department of Public Instruction for benefits under Title 38, Chapter 36 U.S. Code. Students enrolling at Emmaus who are eligible to take advantage of these veteran's educational benefits should consult with the Registrar to obtain the necessary forms.
Students are also encouraged to seek information on private financial aid that may be available from local, state, or national service clubs or organizations. This information can be found in a number of places including your local library. We also encourage students to look for scholarships and grants on Fastweb (Financial Aid Search Through the WEB).
Emmaus Bible College believes that the primary responsibility for educational costs rests with the student and parents. The financial aid program at Emmaus is designed to enable students to attend Emmaus by helping to complement their families' resources. Your financial aid package, based on the information provided by the family on the FAFSA, will be developed based on your eligibility and the funds available to award.
