Life in Dubuque

Life in Dubuque

Dubuque is the perfect "big little city." It has everything you could need as far as shopping, restaurants, entertainment, parks and more! If you enjoy shopping in more specialty and one of a kind stores, we are only 20 minutes from historic, downtown Galena, Illinois. The Galena Main street is full of all kinds of neat stores, restaurants and antique shops! However, if it is the big city you crave, we are just a little over 1.5 hours from Madison, WI and 3 hours from Chicago, IL! Our students will often take day trips into the city or even weekend trips to stay with families of new college friends!
