Emmaus Bible College has recently signed agreements with the University of Dubuque and Northeast Iowa Community College to offer our students new academic program options. These new programs include a strong Bible and Theology core as a foundation for lifelong learning and service.
Under our Bible/Theology 3-plus-1 Transfer Program students spend their first 3 years of study completing core coursework in Bible and Theology and general studies at Emmaus Bible College as well as select courses at the University of Dubuque in a major discipline not offered at Emmaus. During the fourth year of study the student transfers to the University of Dubuque to complete the coursework for the major discipline that they have chosen. Successful completion of the 3-plus-1 program results in awarding a B.S degree from Emmaus and a B.S. or B.A. degree from the University of Dubuque. Depending on the program of interest, completion may require more than one year of study at UD. Some examples of majors that students can complete through this program are:
- Criminal Justice
- Digital Art & Design
- Science Majors (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science)*
- Sports Management & Marketing
- Wellness and Exercise Science
*Will take longer than 4 years to complete
