Hurricane Dorian Relief

On September 1, Hurricane Dorian made landfall on the Bahamas. The destruction is absolutely catastrophic, with most buildings, businesses, and homes severely damaged if not destroyed. Infrastructure on Abaco island has all but been wiped out. It will take months to restore that alone, and years to rebuild. The Christian school on Abaco Island in the city of Marsh Harbour has been hit hard as well. Emmaus has had a great relationship with this school over the past twenty years, sending down Elementary Education graduates who have served as teachers there, including alumnus Tim Watson, who is the current Bible teacher.

We would like to help by raising financial support for the rebuilding of the Christian school. It will be a long and hard road ahead, but they are looking to the Lord for provision and their desire is to reopen for the 2020-2021 school year. You can help support this project through donating at the link below. On the Helps Ministries Hurricane Relief page, you can select "Agape Christian School" under the designation drop down and make your donation. This is a great way to share our love and support with members of Christ's body who are in great need because of this natural disaster!
