Emmaus Mourns the Loss of Student Bailey DeVries

Please join the Emmaus Bible College family in mourning the loss of Bailey DeVries, a student in our Educational Ministries program. Bailey died as the result of a car accident as she returned to campus from western Iowa last evening in bad weather. We are confident that Bailey is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to being a full-time student, Bailey was a proud member of the National Guard. She had recently received orders for a change of assignment to chaplain's assistant and was thrilled with this new opportunity for service.

Please pray for Bailey's family and the Emmaus family at this difficult time.

"But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep." - I Thessalonians 4 13-14

The following was a post written about Bailey by her mentor back in November of 2017: https://www.chicksministry.org/single-post/2017/11/07/Private-Bailey-De-Vries-Warrior-for-Christ
