Emmaus receives occasional requests to post ministry opportunities on our website, and we are pleased to provide this service to our alumni and friends. Internship with WILD and HCY

Qualifications

  1. Post High school 
  2. Teachable and willing heart
  3. One year commitment
  4. Raise a small amount of monthly financial support to cover living expenses and the overseas ministry trip. (Anyone who does not live in the Rhinelander area will be given assistance to find affordable housing.)
  5. Obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit
  6. Open to exciting ministry adventure
  7. Agree to and follow WILD’s Lifestyle Policy

Benefits

  1. Offered teaching/training in ministry, spiritual leadership development, Bible, Advanced training in Leadership Development
  2. Intensive leadership development training
  3. Learn day to day ministry, understand what is involved in ministry
  4. Work with Christians from other parts of the world
  5. Mentored, able to ask questions and attempt ministry opportunities under the guidance of Director
  6. Impact young and older people locally and abroad
  7. Understand the philosophies of local youth ministry and international ministry
  8. Prepared for continued ministry after the one year commitment

Responsibilities

  1. Work with both HCY and WILD
  2. Raise some funds for living expenses – find a family to live with for the year
  3. Involved with all ministry aspects – Youth ministry and Leadership ministry
  4. Involved in club, quizzing, rallies, schools, discipleship, etc.
  5. Minimum of one overseas ministry opportunity with WILD

Interns begin in Summer (June or July) of 2014 for a one year commitment, working closely with Mike Prom in both WILD and HCY, Interns can come from Rhinelander area or other parts of USA/world. They will be involved in working with teenagers and internationals.
