    Minor in Intercultural Studies


    The Minor in Intercultural Studies
    is a program of study designed to provide the student with the underlying philosophy of biblical missions, an in-depth study of a missionary's life and work, and some initial training in cross-cultural transitions. Coursework for the minor can be used to fulfill elective requirements in a major area of study. Program Director: Mr. Joel Hernandez.

    Program Outcomes

    The student will:
    1. develop an understanding of basic elements of culture.
    2. develop an awareness of his or her responsibility as a Christian in a multi-cultural world.
    3. understand the adjustments inherent in cross-cultural ministries.
    4. understand the historical development of missions and the specific role played by Assembly missions.
