Minor in Music
The minor in Music is a program of study that provides foundational study in music theory, music history, and applied studies. Coursework for the minor can be used to fulfill some elective requirements in a major area of study.

Program Outcomes
The student will:
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of music theory.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of style periods, key composers, and great works in the historical development of Western European art music.

- Music Fundamentals** (MUS 050)
- Music Theory/Aural Skills 1 (MUS 110)
- Music Theory/Aural Skills 2 (MUS 210)
- Survey of Music History (MUS 173)
- Voice Class (MUS 124) or Keyboard Skills (MUS 328)
- Applied Private Voice or Piano – 4 credits
- Performing Group – 4 credits
