Philip Boom serves at the Chair of the Department of Business Administration at Emmaus, and is a professor and mentor to students in the Business Program. Phil holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and also earned an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Phil joined the Emmaus team in 2010 after gaining extensive business experience at the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Delaware. During his tenure there Phil held a variety of responsibilities in areas of business development, marketing, operations management, and global business leadership.

Phil has also been involved with youth and camp ministries for many years in a variety of volunteer roles. Phil has been a board member at Hickory Cove Bible Camp (North Carolina) for the last 9 years. He and his wife Evelyn have 5 children and they love to be at camp as staff, volunteers or campers from time to time. At home in Dubuque Iowa they attend the Asbury Community Chapel, where they are also involved in leadership of the local assembly.
