To All Members of the Emmaus Bible College Community,
I write today to inform you that President Kenneth Daughters has tendered his resignation, effective immediately, which I have accepted on behalf of the Board of Trustees. Ken has served at Emmaus for 22 years. In his twelve years as president, he has overseen the development of several new academic programs, worked through times of difficult budgets, and recruited a highly talented faculty and leadership team. The Board thanks Ken for his faithful service and we wish him well as he transitions to a new area of service to our Lord.
Dr. William Moore will serve as Interim President. A retired principal and former school district assistant superintendent, Bill has been an Emmaus Trustee for over 15 years, and served as Director of the Elementary Education program for two years. The Board of Trustees will immediately initiate a search for a new president. In its search the board will emphasize candidates with a deep commitment to the Lord and the faithful teaching of His Word, devotion to the core values of the College, and a passion for the spiritual needs of our students. The new president will have leadership experience in the management of an educational organization, a commitment to programmatic excellence, and experience in constituent relations, including the advancement of the College's mission.
Ken Daughters is a man of proven character and integrity, and the College owes him a debt of gratitude for his service. We pray God's blessings on his future endeavors.
Sincerely in Christ,Steven LearyChairman, Board of Trustees
